January 2020 Exams
EDSS will be following an ‘Exam by Period’ model, which aligns with the majority of WRDSB secondary schools. Exams will follow the A, B, C, D format. Students are required to write their exam in the block their course appears in their timetable.
Exams will be held from Friday, January 24th until Thursday, January 30th.

Bus Cancellation Information
If school transportation is impacted (cancelled) due to inclement weather in any geographic area of the WRDSB, the exam schedule for all secondary schools will be postponed by one day.
- In the event of a ‘bus cancellation’, all exams will be ‘shifted’ one school day (i.e. the exam schedule for Fri. Jan. 24th will move to Mon. Jan. 27th, the schedule for Mon. Jan. 27th will move to Tues. Jan. 28th, etc.)
- Please Note: The PD Day on Jan 31st will not be moved. Exams scheduled on Thurs. Jan 30th will move to Mon. Feb 3rd
Students are asked to review the schedule and read the important information so they know when their exams will be written and are aware of the procedures.
