Dear Parents and Guardians,

 

We invite you to join us at our next School Council Meeting on Monday, December 4th. 

 

Each year secondary schools go through a school learning and improvement process intended to identify learning needs and desired outcomes for students, and plan for strategies and actions that will address those needs.  This is an important structure in guiding our focus at EDSS for the year.  

 

The 2023/2024 SLIP team is taking a “street data” approach to collecting data to inform our SLIP. Our Street data approach will center the voices, experiences and realities of our students and community. 

 

We know that your feedback is invaluable in shaping the direction of our school, and we are eager to hear your thoughts on what you believe should be prioritized in our school improvement efforts. We will also discuss how parents and guardians can support our school improvement efforts through the use of grants and funds.
