January 2020 Exams

EDSS will be following an ‘Exam by Period’ model, which aligns with the majority of WRDSB secondary schools.  Exams will follow the A, B, C, D format. Students are required to write their exam in the block in which their course appears on their timetable.

The January 2020 Exam Schedule will be posted by December 13^th.  Exams will be held from Friday, January 24^th until Thursday, January 30^th.

Thursday, January 30	Final Summative and Subject Assignment Completion (as deemed necessary by subject teacher)

 

Bus Cancellation Information

If school transportation is impacted (cancelled) due to inclement weather in any geographic area of the WRDSB, the exam schedule in all secondary schools will be postponed by one day.

• In the event of a ‘bus cancellation’, all exams will be ‘shifted’ one school day (i.e. the exam schedule for Fri. Jan. 24^thwill move to Mon. Jan. 27^th, the schedule for Mon. Jan. 27^th will move to Tues. Jan. 28^th, etc.)
• Please Note:  The PD Day on Jan 31^stwill not be moved.  Assessments/Exams scheduled on Thurs. Jan 30^th will move to Mon. Feb 3^rd
