To our Lancer families,
I am writing to provide you with an update regarding the information that was shared with you earlier this week.
This Wednesday, on the advice from Public Health, a class was sent home to self-isolate. Today, we learned that Public Health received more information and the class no longer needs to isolate and will return to school on Monday.
Please know that our school and the WRDSB works very closely with Public Health and takes direction from them on all matters relating to COVID-19, including how to communicate. Classes may be sent home out of caution as cases are investigated.
As part of our COVID protocols, our school had increased cleaning and disinfecting this week, including high-traffic areas and touchpoints.
Please continue to use the self-screening checklist every morning before sending your child to school.
Please continue to reach out to a member of our administration team if you have any questions. As always, we are happy to speak with you and answer your questions and concerns.
