Grade 9 EQAO: Semester 1

 

All students enrolled in Grade 9 Destreamed Mathematics this semester are required to write the province-wide Mathematics assessment: EQAO. Please make sure that your child is in class for the testing on both Tuesday January 24 and Wednesday January 25. Students will be writing this test in their individual math classes. 

 

To participate in this online testing, your child will need their charged WRDSB issued Chromebook. 

 

A sample test done in class on Monday January 23 will give students a chance to explore the online testing environment. The curriculum material has been presented and we will be reviewed in class prior to the testing; we anticipate that our students will have the knowledge to do well.  We encourage students to take the review and testing process seriously as all positive observations of learning are included in their overall Math grade. Participating students will receive an individual report of their results prepared by EQAO. Results of this test will not be included in the numeric calculation of their final math grade.
