Return to In-Person Learning

 

Staff and students are preparing to return to EDSS on Monday, February 8th. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and seeing them in person.

 

Student Self-Screening

All secondary students entering a WRDSB facility will be expected to verify daily that they have completed a self-screening process through their school website. Further details about the process will be provided via your school website by the end of next week.  Until this process is in place classroom teachers will be verifying that students have completed the Ontario School Screening Tool and received a Green confirmation message.  

**Please be advised that if a student receives a Red confirmation message when completing the Ontario School Screening Tool, they must stay home.  If a student becomes symptomatic during the school day, they will be sent home immediately along with siblings or household members**

 

Staff Self-Screening

All staff entering a WRDSB facility will be expected to verify daily that they have completed a self-screening process as communicated on January 22, 2021. 

 

Masks and social distancing

All WRDSB students from Grades Kindergarten to 12 are already expected to wear a mask while attending school and when outdoors when physical distancing is not possible.

We would ask that students continue to maintain social distancing and wear masks while outdoors and that they refrain from congregating before or after school. We would appreciate parental and caregiver support in reinforcing this.

 

Return of Quadmester 2 Resources

Resources used during Quadmester 2 are requested to be returned Monday, February 8th or when Cohort B students return to the school for class.
