Do you need a course change for 2026-2027?
TIMETABLES
- Student timetables will be emailed to each student’s WRDSB school email address before the first day of school.
- On the first day, class lists will be posted throughout the school to help students find their Period A (homeroom) classroom.
- Students will receive a paper copy of their timetable in their Period A class.
- Tuesday, September 8 will follow a modified schedule. The schedule will be emailed to families and posted on the school website.
COURSE CHANGE REQUESTS
Course change requests will begin on September 8.
Students requesting a course change must:
- Pick up a Course Change Request Form outside the Guidance Office. Forms will be available on the first day of school.
- Complete the form and obtain a parent/guardian signature.
- Return the signed form to the drop box in the Guidance Office.
*Families may also access the form here to complete it ahead of time and have it ready to submit on the first day.
Please note:
- Emails or phone calls sent over the summer will not be considered course change requests. A signed Course Change Request Form must be submitted.
- Students cannot book Guidance appointments for course changes. Guidance counsellors will contact students directly based on submitted forms.
- Guidance counsellor calendars will remain closed for regular appointments until September 16.
- Students must continue attending the classes on their current timetable until they are notified that a change has been made.
HOW COURSE CHANGES ARE PRIORITIZED
Requests will be reviewed based on urgency and need rather than simply the order in which they are received.
High Priority
- Missing or incorrect compulsory courses
- Courses required for graduation
- Courses required for post-secondary programs/pathway plans
- Major timetable errors
Lower Priority
- Elective course changes and preference-based requests
Please remember that course changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
