Congratulations to the Elmira District Secondary School Graduates of 2020-2021!
At this time we are unable to gather as a large group to celebrate your graduation in person but we would like to invite you to a Virtual Commencement for your graduating class. We hope you will be able to enjoy this ceremony and celebrate your accomplishments with your families during the Holiday Season in December and January.
We will share a link with the 2020-21 Graduating Class for your Virtual Commencement Ceremony that will become accessible to graduates on Friday, December 17th, 2021. This link will be active for two weeks during which time grads and their families can access the EDSS Virtual Commencement for viewing.
Graduates are asked to check their email for a School Day Announcement during the week of December 13th-17th for this information. All of the information around the Virtual Commencement Ceremony will be shared within this School Day announcement. The link for the ceremony will be found within this communication and it will identify when the 2020-21 Virtual Commencement link will become active on December 17th, 2021.
Graduates are invited to come to the school on the following dates to pick up their diplomas and award(s) on the following dates.
Pick up dates: (NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY)
Monday, November 29th 1:30pm – 3:30pm
Tuesday, November 30th 1:30pm – 3:30pm
Wednesday, December 1st 1:30pm – 3:30pm
Thursday, December 2nd 1:30pm – 3:30pm
If you (or a parent/guardian) are not able to make one of these dates or times, please call the school to arrange a time to pick up your diploma.
Location: Front Foyer (the “U”)
Please wear a mask and bring a photo ID when you arrive to pick up your package.
If you are over 18 years of age and are sending a parent to pick up your grad package, please send a signed note or email eds@wrdsb.ca stating the name of the person who will be picking it up.
