EDSS is offering a virtual grade 8 evening on Wednesday December 1, 2021.  Although we are not permitted to connect in person, we are committed to connecting in ways we can in order to help students and families transition to high school!  We are excited to connect with you!

Starting at 6:30 pm, there will be an introduction led by EDSS administration and guidance.  Participants will learn where they can find information about courses, athletics, clubs as well as many other resources to support students and families during their years at EDSS.  Between 6:45 and 7:30 pm people will be invited to pop into all the different department links for an opportunity to ask questions.  There will be no formal presentations during the 45 minute Q&A time but department heads and other staff will be there to answer questions.  Participants are welcome to drop back into the main guidance link with any further questions at 7:30 pm.

The event will not be recorded however, there will be a short video posted on the guidance department website in a few weeks for those unable to attend.   Please use the links of the attached PDF to access the google meets.  For anyone joining in after 6:30 pm – they will be able to jump into any google meets, including guidance, to be sure they get their questions answered.  Participants will have the flexibility to join in when they can and leave after they have connected with the departments they want to.
