November 3rd, 2026

We are so excited for our Football Buy-out happening tomorrow! The game kicks off at 11:00 a.m. and will run through the lunch period, wrapping up right before Period D. Get ready to bring that Lancer spirit and cheer on our undefeated Jr. Boys Football Team!

Homeroom teachers will distribute event wristband. Students are to be sure to wear their wristbands to the game so staff know that the permission form is complete. Students are expected to attend Period B classes as usual and do not need to check in for Period C. As soon as the game wraps up, we ask that students please head directly and promptly to their Period D class.

If you purchased a buyout ticket, we can’t wait to see you out on the field! Please remember that if your student is signed out of school for the day by a caregiver (or self-signed if you are 18+), they are not permitted on school property, which includes the football field.

Finally, if you paid the $3 for the original October 22nd buyout but can no longer attend tomorrow—such as Grade 9 students participating in Take Our Kids to Work Day—please have a caregiver contact the Main Office through email (eds@wrdsb.ca) so we can process your refund.

Thanks & have a great day, EDSS!
