Mid-term Evaluation/Assessment Day
Thursday, November 12th

We would like to remind EDSS students and families that Thursday, November 12th is a board designated evaluation/assessment day which we will use as Instructional Support Day.

During instructional support days the majority of students are not required to attend in person but will work from home to complete any outstanding assignments or evaluations.

The mid-term Instructional Support Day does, however, provide opportunities for classroom teachers  to work with select students at credit rescue, assignment completion, and/or offer additional opportunities for students to demonstrate specific or overall curriculum expectations.

Specific students that may benefit from the targeted in-person support described above will be invited to attend by their teacher.

Please note that the timetable will mirror the regular school day schedule.

Secondary Students in Congregated Classes and Alternative Education

Students in Secondary Congregated Classrooms and in Alternative Education will attend in-person on Nov 6th to ensure that they have the support needed to continue their learning.

Secondary Congregated Classes include:

  • ACE

  • Bridges
