Frequently Asked Questions

What if I still have assignments due? If you need your device past June 18 to complete outstanding coursework, you must visit the cafeteria during your scheduled time slot to speak with Mr. Oldford. He will record your extension to ensure your device is not remotely locked.

What happens if I don’t return my device? Any devices not returned or officially extended by the final deadline will be remotely locked. A locked device is unusable and can only be unlocked by the WRDSB IT department upon return of the hardware.

Will I lose my Google Drive files? Yes. Your school Google account will be deactivated shortly after graduation. We strongly recommend using Google Takeout to transfer your essays, projects, and files to a personal Gmail account.

  • How-To: Visit takeout.google.com and follow the prompts. Note: Transfers can take several days, so start early!
